About the Role:
The Zonal Head will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Branch Managers/Relationship Managers within a designated zone to achieve revenue and profitability targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the stock broking industry, excellent leadership and team management skills, and a proven track record of success in driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue & Profitability:
- Drive revenue and profitability within the assigned zone by achieving and exceeding sales targets for various products and services offered by the brokerage firm (e.g., trading, investment, advisory, etc.).
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue per client, client acquisition cost, and customer lifetime value.
- Implement cost-effective measures to optimize profitability.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team of Branch Managers/Relationship Managers.
- Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Address team challenges and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share and penetrate new customer segments.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through partnerships, alliances, and other strategic initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, channel partners, and industry associations.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Client Management:
- Oversee client relationship management activities within the zone.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular client outreach programs to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with sales and business operations.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in the stock broking industry with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of success in achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM and other relevant software.
- NISM certifications (preferred)
