Role Overview
As a Relationship Manager in the Bank Channel, your primary mission is to bridge the gap between banking and capital markets. You will be stationed at or mapped to specific bank branches, acting as the subject matter expert for investment products. Your core focus is to drive the acquisition of 3-in-1 Accounts (integrated Savings, Demat, and Trading accounts) by leveraging the bank’s existing customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquisition & Sales: Proactively identify and pitch 3-in-1 account solutions to walk-in bank customers and the branch’s existing portfolio.
- Branch Relationship Management: Build a strong rapport with the Bank Branch Manager and staff to ensure a consistent flow of leads and referrals.
- Lead Conversion: Follow up on leads generated by the bank staff and convert them into active trading clients through effective product demonstrations.
- Customer Onboarding: Guide clients through the digital and physical documentation process, ensuring a seamless account opening experience.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on stock market trends, IPOs, and mutual funds to provide basic market insights to prospective clients during the sales pitch.
- Activation & Engagement: Ensure newly opened accounts are “activated” (the client performs their first trade) to drive early-stage engagement.
Skills & Qualifications

Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly Acquisition Target: Number of new 3-in-1 accounts opened.
- Activation Ratio: Percentage of accounts that start trading within the first 30 days.
- Lead Quality: Conversion rate of leads provided by the bank branch.
- Cross-selling: Success in selling third-party products like Mutual Funds, Insurance, or IPOs.
Salary: Up to 4 LPA + Incentive
