Equity Dealer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Equity Dealer to join a leading stock broking firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing trades on behalf of clients, providing real-time market updates, and ensuring seamless transaction management in compliance with exchange regulations.

Core Responsibilities

• Trade Execution: Execute buy and sell orders for clients across NSE and BSE terminals (NEAT/BOLT) with high accuracy and speed.
• Advisory & Relationship Management: Brief clients on daily market trends, research reports, and stock recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Risk Management: Monitor client margins and limits in real-time; ensure all trades are within the risk parameters set by the company.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to SEBI guidelines and internal exchange compliance protocols for every transaction.
• Post-Trade Support: Coordinate with the back-office team to ensure smooth settlement of trades and resolve any discrepancies in contract notes.
• Portfolio Tracking: Assist high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and retail clients in monitoring their portfolios and suggesting timely entries or exits.

Key Competencies & Skills

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with trading terminals like ODIN, NEAT, or NOW.

• Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of cash and derivative (F&O) segments, technical indicators, and fundamental market drivers.
• Analytical Ability: Ability to interpret market data, charts, and news quickly to provide actionable insights.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to manage high-pressure interactions with clients during peak market hours.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in entering trade data to avoid “fat-finger” errors or execution lapses.

Qualification & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field. (MBA Finance is a plus).
• Certification: NISM Series VIII: Equity Derivatives Certification is mandatory.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Dealer or Terminal Operator in a reputed broking house.
• Location: Lucknow / Regional Hubs.
