Role Overview
As a Virtual Relationship Manager (VRM) in our Retail Advisory team, you will serve as a crucial bridge between clients and the financial markets. Operating virtually, you will manage client portfolios, provide insightful investment recommendations, execute trades, and ensure top-tier client retention. This role combines market expertise, relationship management, and sales acumen to drive business growth while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Proactively acquire new clients and build strong, long-lasting relationships through virtual communication channels.
- Portfolio Management & Advisory: Manage existing client portfolios, conduct thorough market research, and provide personalized investment advice and product recommendations.
- Account Management: Oversee the complete client lifecycle, including Demat account opening processes, account maintenance, and documentation.
- Revenue Generation: Promote a comprehensive suite of financial products and services; drive growth through strategic cross-selling and up-selling.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated with real-time market trends, financial products, and macroeconomic indicators to guide clients effectively.
- Compliance: Ensure all trading activities, advice, and client interactions strictly adhere to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce ($B.Com$) / MBA in Finance or Marketing.
- Mandatory Certifications: Valid NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) and IRDAI certifications.
Required Skills & Experience
- Industry Knowledge: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in the stock market with a strong understanding of equity markets, financial instruments, and Demat operational workflows.
- Sales & Service Acumen: Proven ability to source new clients, retain accounts, and maximize share of wallet via cross-selling.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities to handle clients remotely.
- Soft Skills: High decision-making capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the agility to prioritize and manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously.
