We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Project Manager – Sales to spearhead our business growth within the project segment. This role is pivotal in identifying high-value opportunities, managing the sales lifecycle from specification to closure, and ensuring the successful execution of large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial success, acting as a key liaison for industry stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Proactively identify and track upcoming residential, commercial, and industrial projects in the assigned territory.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of high-value projects and ensure timely entry into the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct market mapping to stay ahead of competitors and emerging industry trends.

2. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with Architects, Builders, Real Estate Developers, and Project Management Consultants (PMCs).
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to influence specifications in favor of the company.

3. Sales Execution & Negotiation

  • Analyze client requirements and prepare comprehensive, competitive commercial proposals.
  • Lead high-stakes negotiations to close deals, ensuring profitability and alignment with company standards.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for deals ranging from ₹2 Cr to ₹3 Cr.

4. Project Coordination & Collections

  • Collaborate with internal technical and logistics teams to ensure seamless project execution and on-time delivery.
  • Take ownership of the payment cycle, ensuring timely collections and financial reconciliation.

5. Relationship Management

  • Act as a dedicated point of contact for key accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 2–8 years of proven track record in Project Sales. Experience within the Building Materials industry (e.g., Tiles, Sanitaryware, Glass, Paint, or Steel) is highly preferred.
  • Network: An established and active network of Architects and Builders in the regional market.
  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience in handling and closing project deals worth ₹2–3 Crores.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Mobility: Must be open to frequent travel within the assigned territory for site visits and client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Graduate or Postgraduate degree.
  • Preferred Specialization: A background in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Management (MBA) is strongly preferred to better understand technical project specs and business dynamics.
