Department: Sales & Distribution – Retail Assets
Reports To: Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager
Job Purpose
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Officer to drive growth in our retail asset portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mortgages, specifically within Loan Against Property (LAP), Affordable Housing Finance, and Home Loans. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality business, managing the end-to-end loan process, and building a robust network of connectors and direct customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively source new business leads for Home Loans, LAP, and Affordable Housing products to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Portfolio Management: Cross-sell other asset products (Personal Loans, Business Loans, or Auto Loans) to existing and new customers where applicable.
- Channel Management: Identify, empanel, and manage relationships with Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), connectors, and local influencers (builders, architects, and contractors).
- Customer Relationship Management: Guide customers through the entire loan lifecycle, from initial inquiry and documentation to sanction and final disbursement.
- Credit & Compliance: Conduct preliminary credit checks and ensure all sourced files meet the company’s KYC and credit policy guidelines.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor offerings, interest rates, and local real estate trends to provide feedback to the product team.
- Post-Disbursement Support: Assist in the collection of post-disbursement documents (PDDs) and ensure a seamless handoff to the operations team.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduate in any stream (MBA or Post-Graduation in Marketing/Finance is a plus).
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in selling Mortgage products.
- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of LAP (Loan Against Property), Affordable Housing schemes, and standard Home Finance procedures.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with mortgage calculators, CIBIL report interpretation, and basic loan eligibility norms.
